Towncare Dental of Altamonte Springs is searching for a part-time Dental Hygienist to work at our office located at 820 N State Rd 434, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.

Details:

Schedule: 3 days a week with potential for full-time (Monday, Wednesday, and either Tuesday or Thursday)

Active or pending Florida Hygiene license.

Responsibilities

Essential duties include:

• Delivering periodontal therapies and hygiene-related services to improve patients' oral health, with enthusiasm and high-quality care.
• Providing oral hygiene treatment and education under limited supervision, following state guidelines.
• Patient screening, medical history review, and dental charting.
• Applying fluoride and sealants; removing calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
• Offering nutritional counseling and self-care guidance to prevent disease.
• Performing other duties as required.

Qualifications

Desired Skills:

• Hands-on experience as a Hygienist.
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene school; current state license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
