Join Our Dynamic Dental Team as a Part-Time Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled dental hygienist to join our family-oriented dental practice in Leesburg, FL. Led by Dr. Ilkka, our office focuses on personalized patient care and building long-term relationships while delivering top-quality dental hygiene services.

As a dental hygienist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our patients' oral health through comprehensive dental examinations, professional cleaning, and treatments such as scaling and root planing. You will utilize advanced diagnostic tools, including digital radiography and intraoral cameras, to identify oral health issues early and promote preventive care.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Performing thorough dental cleanings, including calculus removal with cavitron and ultrasonic scaling.
2. Conducting periodontal and oral cancer screenings.
3. Providing patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care.
4. Maintaining detailed records using dental software like Dentrix and DEXIS.
5. Collaborating with the team to schedule appointments and follow-ups.

Requirements:

• Valid Florida Hygienist License
• At least one year of dental office experience
• Proficiency in Arestin Therapy, bleaching, and related treatments is a plus.
