Job summary

HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. in Fall River, MA, seeks a Dental Hygienist/Dental Assistant Supervisor to oversee staff, ensure infection control, and provide dental care as a hygienist per dentist’s instructions.

The role includes clinical duties (cleaning, X-rays, sealants, fluoride) and administrative support under the Chief Dental Officer in a fast-paced, federally qualified health center. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program and a Massachusetts Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License are required.
• Prior experience working as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a community health setting.
• 2-3 years staff supervision experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English, Spanish/Portuguese) preferred.
• Experience with Epic Wisdom or Electronic Medical Record required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Dental Assistants and Dental Outreach staff; develop schedules and ensure sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Provide clinical time as a Dental Hygienist, including cleaning, scaling, polishing, taking X-rays, sealants, and fluoride treatment.
• Support the dental department in administrative and clerical functions as directed by the Chief Dental Officer.
