The incumbent will assist in recruiting and training staff, coordinating orientation, and maintaining compliance across the department’s operations, including EHR systems and billing processes.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctorate in General Family Dentistry or DMD with MPH as preferred
• Minimum five years professional experience with at least two years in supervision
• Massachusetts license to practice dentistry without limitations

Responsibilities

• Assist Dental Director in supervising department staff and trainees.
• Support regulatory compliance with DPH, Joint Commission, HRSA, and others.
• Help prepare departmental budget and manage program expenses.
• Coordinate staff orientation, training, and competency assessments.
• Oversee staff scheduling, including evening hours.
• Maintain patient records, billing accuracy and privacy protections.
• Participate in quality assurance and committee work.
• Perform dental treatments as needed (exams, restorations, extractions, crowns, dentures).
