Healthfirst Family Care Center, Inc. "Heart of Our Community" in Fall River is looking for a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced medical team. This role involves assisting the dentist during procedures and maintaining strict sterilization protocols.

The ideal candidate will have a Dental Assistant program certification, a valid Massachusetts license, and preferably be bilingual. We offer a competitive pay range of $24.28 – $28.84 per hour along with generous benefits including PTO and health insurance.

Job description

Overview

Exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced medical team within a growing federally qualified community health center. HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. “The Heart of Our Community” provides comprehensive services including adult/pediatric medical care, health education, health assessment and screenings, gynecology, cardiology, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and adult/pediatric dental care. We are seeking a motivated, Full Time Dental Assistant (38 hours per week) who enjoys working with culturally diverse children and families in providing comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentist during dental examinations and procedures.
• Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Perform dental radiology and record treatment information in patient records.

Schedule

8:00am – 6:00pm, four days a week. Rotating Saturdays 9:00am – 1:00pm.

Pay

Pay Range: $24.28 – $28.84 per hour. This represents HealthFirst’s good faith estimate for this role at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, market conditions, and budget considerations.

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of Dental Assistant program at an accredited institution

• Must submit CORI and demonstrate proof of being free from disqualifying information
