A.T. Still University Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) invites applications for a full-time Instructor Dental Hygienist on the St. Louis, Missouri campus.

The role involves supervising dental students during non-surgical periodontal procedures and teaching clinical hygiene techniques. Responsibilities include instruction and grading, faculty calibration, and contributing to the clinical Quality Assurance program under the Assistant Dean, Clinical Affairs.

Qualifications

• Dental hygiene degree or associate degree with Bachelor in a related field required.
• Missouri Dental Hygiene licensure and local anesthesia certification.
• NSPT program design/implementation experience.
• Current AHA CPR BLS or MO Dental Board approved training.
• Experience in education methodologies and competency-based education.

Responsibilities

• Participate in instruction and grading of non-surgical periodontal procedures.
• Participate in instruction and grading of clinical experiences in dental hygiene.
• Attend faculty calibration meetings and professional development activities.
• Contribute to the clinical program as directed by the Assistant Dean, Clinical Affairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
