Job summary
A.T. Still University's Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) on the St. Louis campus invites applications for a full-time, exempt Instructor Dental Hygienist.
The role directly supervises dental students performing non-surgical periodontal procedures and delivers clinical hygiene services with preventive care. The position emphasizes teaching, evaluation of student performance, and participation in the clinical Quality Assurance program, reporting to the Assistant Dean,
Qualifications
- Must hold Missouri dental hygiene license or ability to obtain.
- Experience in NSPT program design and implementation.
- Knowledge of periodontal anatomy and physiology.
- Experience in clinical hygiene services and supervision of students.
- Training in educational methodology is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise dental students performing non-surgical periodontal procedures.
- Instruct and grade students in clinical experiences related to dental hygiene.
- Participate in faculty calibration and professional development activities.
- Contribute to the clinical program as directed by the Assistant Dean, Clinical Affairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
