Dental-Depot in Norman, OK is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the Hygienist by preparing patients, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining per-patient records. The role also involves assisting during procedures and managing x-ray duties in a fast-paced dental clinic.

Ideal candidates will have a Dental Assisting program and at least 3 months of dental office experience, along with certifications in Coronal Polish and Radiography within six months.

Qualifications

• Completion of Dental Assisting program or equivalent.
• 3+ months experience in a dental office preferred.
• Coronal Polish and Radiation Certificates within six months of employment required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patient, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays and assist dentist/hygienist during procedures.
• Record treatment information in patient records.
• Expose dental diagnostic x-rays and care for x-ray sensors.
• Coronal polish all tooth surfaces to assist Hygienist during preventive/periodontal visits.
• Take medical and dental histories and vital signs.
