Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Dental Assistant for Dental Depot of I-44 & Garnett PLLC in Tulsa, OK. You will assist the Hygienist, set up equipment, prepare patients for hygiene treatment, and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities include taking radiographs, coronal polishing, recording medical/dental histories, assisting in emergencies, giving postoperative instructions, scheduling, and inventory management. A Certificate or equivalent training is required within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Dental Assisting school or minimum three months in a dental office.
• Dental Assistant permit and coronal polish/radiation certificates within specified time.

Responsibilities

• Assist Hygienist and prepare patient for hygiene treatment.
• Sterilize instruments and set up trays for procedures.
• Record treatment information in patient records.
• Take and record dental histories and vital signs.
• Expose and care for dental x-rays and sensors.
• Polish teeth and apply fluoride/sealants as prescribed.
• Provide postoperative instructions and schedule follow-ups.
• Order and monitor Hygiene supplies and manage appointments.
• Maintain HIPAA/compliance with policies.
