Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry in Selma, NC is hiring a Full-time Hygiene Assistant to join the Selma team at 1111 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576. The role supports the hygienist, schedules appointments, and helps maintain a high standard of patient care.

The ideal candidate has DA II training or equivalent, NC X-ray and coronal polishing credentials, CPR eligibility, and 1–3 years of assisting hygiene experience. Denticon familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset.
• DA II training or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience assisting hygiene preferred.
• NC X-ray Certification and Coronal Polishing Certificate.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Knowledge of Denticon is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the hygienist daily with diverse workflow.
• Take digital X-rays.
• Collect and record patient health histories and vital signs.
• Follow sterilization protocols for operatory turnover and set up.
• Support patient education and post-appointment instructions.
• Maintain instruments, equipment, and clinical supplies.
• Schedule appointments.
• Support additional clinical-related tasks.
