Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a Full-time Hygiene Assistant II in the Triangle Area. You will support the hygienist, coordinate treatment plans, and manage patient scheduling to ensure smooth, efficient care.

Essential certifications include CDA, radiological equivalency, CODA accreditation, CPR, and coronal polishing. Proficiency with Eaglesoft or Denticon is a plus; travel to other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Preferred Dental Hygiene Assistant experience
• CPR certified or within 30 days of hire
• Coronal Polishing Certification
• Proficient in presenting treatment plans and insurance information to patients
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft and/or Denticon is a plus
• Regular and timely attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to other locations as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist the hygienist in providing dental treatment
• Act as treatment coordinator and present treatment plans
• Schedule patient appointments
• Maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment
• Collect and record patient health histories
• Assist with patient management during procedures
• Prepare materials and equipment for scheduled treatment
• Complete dental charting
• Manage inventory and other ancillary duties
• Ensure sterilization and post-op room sanitation
