Dental Solutions in Blackwood, New Jersey, is seeking a Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our clinical team. You will support the office and assist dental staff with treatment, while fostering preventive oral health care in a friendly setting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate degree or certification in Dental Assisting preferred.
Radiology certification required.
CPR certification preferred (can be obtained on hire).

Responsibilities

Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization.
Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress.
Update patient health history and chart treatment progress.
Expose and develop radiographs (if certified).
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of instruments.
Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations.
Comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations in daily tasks.
