The Smilist in Hamilton Township, NJ is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to support our dentists, ensure a clean and welcoming operatory, and guide patients through treatment. This position is full-time and involves assisting clinicians, preparing trays, and maintaining supplies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
• NJ x-ray license is required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while addressing their concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterilized and cheerful environment and assist the doctors to enable efficient dental treatment.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
