Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered team in New Jersey. You will support dentists and hygienists, assist with exams, and help educate patients about oral health.

Responsibilities include chair-side support, taking and processing X-rays, entering treatment plans, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining patient files. We offer medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement plan, paid time off, bonuses, and opportunities for growth in a collaborative community

Qualifications

• Completed dental assisting program and state board certification.
• Radiology certification required by State Dental Board.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists and chart patient information.
• Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of the appointment.
• Take and process X-rays as part of patient care.
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files.
• Complete sterilization of equipment and operatories.
