Foxwood Dental Care in Ocala, FL is seeking a Hygiene Assistant to join our team. This role supports our hygienists, greets patients, sets up rooms, and ensures a safe, comfortable dental experience from the first visit.

On-the-job training is provided, with state-required certifications as needed. The schedule includes Mon/Wed/Thu 8am-5pm, Tue 9am-5pm, and Fri 7am-4pm, offering opportunities for growth within a world-class organization that values teamwork and patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• On-the-job training may be provided based on state requirements.
• HIPAA awareness and PHI protection knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and support hygienists during procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, stock and restock instruments and supplies.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Follow OSHA & CDC safety protocols and maintain patient comfort.
• Collaborate with team to maximize clinic workflow.
