Job summary

Qualifications

• On the job training and additional certification may be required based on state requirements.
• High school graduate or GED Equivalent.
• Team Player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
• HIPAA training and protecting PHI is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, while sustaining patient comfort and providing education.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Provide assistance to hygienists during procedures per state dental practice act.
• Set up rooms for all hygiene visits, stocking instruments and supplies.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols in line with OSHA & CDC recommendations.
• Partner with providers to follow office systems and maximize workflow.
