Sharpsburg Dental Care is seeking a dedicated Hygiene Assistant to join our busy, patient-focused team in Sharpsburg, GA. You will support hygienists, greet patients, review health histories, and help maintain our high standards of care with attention to detail.

Eligible candidates have 2–3 years of dental assisting experience, active X-ray certification, and strong communication. We offer a stable, full-time schedule with opportunities for growth and ongoing education.

Qualifikationen

• On the job training and additional certification may be required based on state requirements.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Team Player.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection responsibilities.

Aufgaben

• Greet and welcome patients and provide education throughout treatment.
• Conduct health history review to ensure quality care.
• Assist hygienists during procedures per state dental practice act.
• Set up rooms and stock instruments and supplies.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols per OSHA and CDC.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize workflow.
