Willow Bay Dental in Green Bay, WI, is seeking a Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our clinical team. The role supports the office and assists hygienists with patient care in a team-based environment, emphasizing preventive oral health and comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (Required)
• Associate or certification in Dental Assisting (preferred)
• Radiology certification (if applicable)
• CPR certification (Preferred but can be obtained upon hiring)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization
• Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress
• Update patient health history and chart treatment progress
• Expose and develop radiographs (if certified)
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments
• Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems
• Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA

As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment.
