Willow Bay Dental in Green Bay, WI is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to support our clinical team by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting dentists during procedures.

Candidates should have at least one year of dental assisting experience; X-ray certification is required, and nitrous oxide certification is highly recommended. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with benefits including insurance and retirement options.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
  • Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
  • Assist dentist in emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.

Position Overview:As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment.   • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:00-4:30

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
  • Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
  • Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
  • One year or more on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
  • X-Ray certification
  • Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
