Our Dental Front Office Specialist is responsible for attending to all patients in a positive, professional manner both in person and on the phone. The role involves coordinating schedules, appointments, and contributing to an efficient office environment.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday
What You'll Do
  1. Greet all patients using scripts and office protocol, answer and manage all incoming calls.
  2. Schedule patients for new, returning, and follow-up appointments; provide all necessary information to prepare them for appointments and procedures; verify insurance with carriers and patients.
  3. Verify and update patient information, inform patients of policies, and enter data into the system.
  4. Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls; fill in cancellations and no-shows.
  5. Verify authorizations and accept or transmit fax information for needed physician-patient information.
  6. Collect co-payments at the time of service and ensure proper billing.
  7. Check fax, phone, voicemail, and email consistently for updates.
Skills And Experience
  1. Minimum 1 year of experience working in a Dental Front Office.
  2. Working knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, diagnosis, and insurance is required.
