Qualifications

• Previous dental front office experience.
• Experience with dental scheduling and practice management.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Experience verifying dental insurance and understanding benefits.
• Experience discussing treatment fees and patient financial responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and providing an exceptional patient experience.
• Answering phones and handling patient questions professionally.
• Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
• Managing a busy dental schedule and keeping the day running efficiently.
• Verifying dental insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Communicating with insurance companies regarding patient benefits and claims.
• Discussing treatment costs, insurance coverage, and patient financial responsibilities.
• Collecting patient payments and maintaining accurate account information.
• Presenting treatment and helping patients understand their financial options.
• Preparing daily schedules, patient charts, and necessary paperwork.
• Following up with patients regarding appointments, treatment, and outstanding needs.
• Working closely with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and other team members.
