Job summary

Vitana Pediatric & Orthodontic Partners in Philadelphia is seeking a friendly, organized Patient Coordinator to join our front-office team. The role focuses on delivering a positive patient experience, coordinating schedules, and supporting daily administrative tasks in a fast-paced dental office.

The ideal candidate will have dental front office or patient coordinator experience, familiarity with Dentrix, and a working knowledge of PPO dental insurance plans.

Qualifications

• Previous dental front office or patient coordinator experience required.
• Dentrix experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of PPO dental insurance plans.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with professionalism and warmth
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
• Verify insurance eligibility and explain PPO dental benefits to patients
• Collect co-pays and process payments
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff to support daily workflow
• Handle patient questions regarding treatment plans, insurance, and billing
• Support general front-office administrative duties as needed
