Job summary

WellSpace Health is seeking a Receptionist at Sunrise Center in Citrus Heights, CA. The role handles phones, client greetings, appointment scheduling, and clerical tasks in a dental office.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or dental assisting certificate, and at least one year in a dental setting. Knowledge of Word/Excel and HIPAA is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Dental Assisting Certificate preferred.
• One year experience in a dental office or equivalent.
• Clear written and verbal communication with good listening skills.
• Fluency in additional languages preferred.
• Proficiency with Word/Excel and database software a plus.
• Able to work a flexible schedule and meet deadlines.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with standard office equipment and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet clients in a courteous manner.
• Schedule appointments and manage front-desk operations.
• Verify patient insurance and eligibility.
• Maintain front office logs and organize dental records.
• Process fees and payments at point of service.
• Travel as needed for operational needs.
• Assist with back-office duties as assigned by Center Manager.
