Job summary

Marquette University is seeking a Dental Equipment Repair Technician for the School of Dentistry. The role involves repairing, installing, maintaining, and instructing on all dental equipment and diagnostic devices across the School of Dentistry and satellite clinics.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, keeping repair records, managing inventory, and attending technology seminars. Weekend availability may be required for student board examinations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five+ years related experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem solving, and customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical; plumbing; hydraulic/pneumatic; electro-mechanical; vacuum pump/air compressors; and x-ray systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and prior experience working with dental equipment desirable.
• Must be able to: lift 70 lbs, walk and stand for extended periods of time.

The Dental Equipment Repair Technician maintains all School of Dentistry clinical and pre-clinical simulation equipment. This includes troubleshooting as well overseeing a preventive maintenance program for the entire clinical operation.
