Job summary

Medline Canada is seeking a field service technician to ensure on-site dental equipment operates correctly. You will troubleshoot, repair, install and support maintenance contracts, traveling within the Northern BC territory to go where needed.

Applicants should have 3+ years repairing equipment, knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, and strong customer service. A valid license and ability to work evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience repairing equipment.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and/or plumbing.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Aptitude for problem solving and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Responding promptly to service requests.
• Follow through on commitments to customers and internal colleagues.
• Diagnosing equipment issues and arranging for required parts, supplies or tools.
• Documenting equipment issues and completed repairs and communicating with customers.
• Adjusting, repairing or calibrating equipment to manufacturer specifications.
• Supporting maintenance contracts and sales of contracts.
