We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maxillofacial Laboratory Technician / Anaplastologist to join our team. This individual will play a significant role in advancing our mission to provide high-quality intraoral and extraoral prosthodontic services to patients requiring specialized care.

Job Summary

Fabricates dentures, dental restorations, and dental framework using digital scanning technology. Works with digital files, 3D printed models, and dental design software. Maintains equipment and supplies.

Essential Functions

The Maxillofacial Laboratory Technician / Anaplastologist will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and repairing intraoral and extraoral maxillofacial prostheses, as well as conventional dental prosthetics such as fixed and removable prosthesis. This role requires expertise in both traditional and digital fabrication techniques, with a preference for candidates who are proficient or willing to gain proficiency in modern digital dentistry workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, fabricate, and repair maxillofacial prostheses (intraoral and extraoral) and conventional prosthetics to achieve optimal fit, function, and aesthetics.
- Collaborate closely with prosthodontists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to understand patient-specific needs and prosthetic requirements.
- Fabricate dental appliances using both traditional laboratory methods and advanced digital workflows, including CAD/CAM systems, 3D printers, and milling machines.
- Operate and maintain CAD/CAM software and hardware, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
- Utilize various materials, such as silicone, acrylics, and metal alloys, in constructing prosthetic devices.
- Perform repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of prosthesis ensuring patient satisfaction and functional outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory work, including designs, materials, and workflow timelines.
- Stay current with advancements in maxillofacial prosthodontics and dental laboratory technologies through continuous education, training, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and institutional policies in all laboratory operations.

Physical Effort
