Job summary

PDS Health in Encinitas, CA is seeking a Healthcare Coordinator to partner with supported Dentists and help patients commit to urgent treatment. You'll explain financial options, educate patients on treatment choices, and help keep schedules productive while delivering a Perfect Patient Experience.

You will gain experience in dental insurance pre-authorizations, assist clinicians on exams, and advocate for patients while upholding company policies and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Travel between offices may be required.
• Preferred: coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business.
• Knowledge of patient insurances.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists in obtaining financial commitments from patients to start recommended treatments.
• Educate patients on treatment choices and financial options to support case acceptance.
• Overcome common patient objections and keep Dentist's schedules productive.
• Assist with insurance pre-authorizations for patients needing them.
• Ensure the office demonstrates the Comprehensive Care Model and maintains PPE.
