Scotch Plains-Fanwood Dental Care is seeking a detail-oriented Dental Billing Assistant to join our office team in New Jersey. You will handle billing and insurance claims, process patient payments, verify coverage, and support front desk operations to ensure accurate, timely financial transactions.

You will work with CDT codes, dental terminology, and our practice management software (Open Dental) to maintain precise patient financial records, coordinate with insurers, and respond to patient

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or dental billing certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in dental billing is required.
  • Knowledge of CDT codes, dental terminology, and insurance processes.
  • Proficiency with dental practice management software (Open Dental) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
