Job summary

First Choice Community Healthcare INC in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Dental Billing Supervisor to lead the dental billing department. You will oversee claims submission, payment posting, denial research, and collaboration with managers to optimize collections and compliance with regulations.

Requires a business administration degree with five years in dental billing, CPP/Coder credentials, and experience with Dentrix/Eaglesoft/Softdent. On-site role with travel within the area.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in business administration with emphasis in general management, accounting or finance and/or five years’ dental billing experience.
• Experience with electronic dental record/practice management systems is preferred.
• Certified Professional Coder and CPR within six months are required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Oversees dental billing of patient, third party, and other programs and submits accurate claims to maximize reimbursement.
• Posts and reconciles payments from third party payers and researches denied or delinquent payments.
• Coordinates with Dental Health Center Managers on self-pay accounts for collection and monitors ledger adjustments.
• Creates regular reporting from the practice management system and collaborates with the Finance Department for balance and cash reconciliation.
