Job summary

Ashbaugh Beal LLP is seeking a Dental Billing Supervisor to oversee the dental billing department, manage accounts receivable, and drive accurate Medicaid/Medicare submissions in a fast-paced health-center setting. You will mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with center managers on self-pay accounts.

Qualifications include 5+ years in dental billing, a business degree, and proficiency with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or SoftDent.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in business administration with an emphasis in general management, accounting or finance.
• At least five years’ experience in a dental billing capacity.
• Experience with electronic dental record/practice management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees dental billing for patient, third party, and/or other programs and maximizes reimbursement.
• Post/reconcile payments from third party payers to the dental practice management system; research denied/delinquent payments and resubmit as needed.
• Train and supervise dental billing staff; manage payroll-related duties; ensure timely evaluations and communications.
