Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior office experience preferably in a medical setting.
• Basic knowledge of computer skills.
• Basic medical terminology preferred.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Verify dental insurance benefits and patient out-of-pocket costs.
• Submit and follow up on insurance pre-authorizations.
• Review treatment plans and financial options with patients.
• Complete data entry on insurance verification forms.
• Verify eligibility and benefit information from multiple sources.
• Upload insurance verification forms into patients' files.
• Update patient accounts with current coverage information.
• Greet patients and check in; answer phones and schedule appointments.
