Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our dentists across scheduled shifts. The role involves preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, handing tools, taking X-rays, educating patients, and maintaining patient records.

Flexibility to assist with front office tasks is a plus. Required certifications include CPR or BLS and X-ray certification; prior dental assisting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR or BLS certification.
• X-ray certification is required.
• Experience as a dental assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed.
