Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and specialists, prepare rooms and instruments, and assist during procedures. You will take X-rays, educate patients on oral care, and uphold infection control standards in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, teamwork, and ongoing skills development with opportunities across multiple affiliated practices within Smile Brands. Schedule is Mon-Thu 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-3pm.

Qualifications

• X-ray certification required; CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive, dependable and willing-to-learn attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
• Assist dentists and specialists during examinations and dental procedures.
• Take and prepare dental X-rays and other diagnostic records, when permitted by state regulations and within credentials.
• Provide patients with clear, compassionate guidance on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.
• Support an efficient, organized clinical environment.
• Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient.
• Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to deliver exceptional care.
