Veda Family Dentistry in West New York, NJ is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support dentists during procedures, prepare instruments, take x-rays, and manage patient records in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 1–2 years of dental assisting, an X-ray license, and comfort with Epic software. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; working in person with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturdays is expected.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience: 1–2 years required.
• X-ray license required; RDA preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD software for dental prosthetics is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Prepare and maintain dental materials and supplies.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Maintain medical records using Epic or similar software.
• Perform dental coding for billing purposes.
• Provide patient assessment and triage.
