Smile Dental Care is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of dental assisting experience, possess an X‑ray license, and demonstrate empathy, patience, and strong communication to support our dentists during procedures.

Responsibilities include room setup, instrument sterilization, taking X‑rays, patient scheduling, and assisting with payments.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Dental Assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments; ensure equipment is ready for dentists.
• Understand anatomy of the mouth and dental terms.

• Take and process patient X-rays.
• Perform lab tasks as instructed.
• Greet patients and schedule appointments.
• Advise patients on oral hygiene and care.
• Maintain patient records and assist with payments.
