NJ Dental Wellness Inc in New Jersey is seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to join our team. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures and handle scheduling and other administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree from a CODA-accredited program, strong computer skills, excellent communication, and a valid X-ray license. If you are friendly and committed to delivering a great patient experience, we’d love to hear from you.

• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care.
• X-ray license is a must.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
• Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
• Schedule appointments
