Job summary

Toledo Family Dental Care, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our collaborative team in Toledo, OH. New grads welcome; Ohio X-ray certification required.

You will support clinicians with four-handed dentistry and handle radiographs, patient education, and charting in a fast-paced environment. As a Heartland Dental office, you will gain front-loaded training, access to Dentrix scheduling, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide dental support organization

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• If required, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and provide patient education.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chair-side assistance (four-handed dentistry) to supported dentists.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping.
