Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to work closely with our Dentist in a San Jose, CA office. The role supports clinical procedures, patient comfort, and front-office tasks in a fulltime capacity.

Compensation is $28-30 per hour. Benefits include PTO, health/dental/vision coverage, HSA, telemedicine, FSA, life and disability insurance, pet insurance, and a 401(k). Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• CPR or BLS certification required.
• X-ray license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed.
