Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to work closely with our Dentist in a Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule in Castro Valley, CA.

You will prepare treatment rooms, assist during procedures, take X-rays, and educate patients on oral hygiene while maintaining accurate records and supporting infection control. Front office tasks may be required occasionally, and you will uphold the 3 Gs: Greeting, Guiding, and Gratitude.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR or BLS certification.
• Dental assistant certification is required.

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort
• Take and develop X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
