Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a part-time dental assistant in Minnesota to support the clinical team, greet patients, and assist across the office. The role involves preparing treatment spaces, educating patients on oral hygiene, and contributing to patient smiles daily.

The position offers a schedule of two Tuesdays per month from 7am to 4pm, with a benefits package tied to hours worked. You will join a network of affiliated practices focused on delivering Smiles For Everyone.

Qualifications

• Must meet state dental assistant credentialing requirements (RDA, CDA, EFDA or equivalent).
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care.

Overview

In this role, you’ll be an important member of the clinical team, working alongside GPs and other Specialty Clinicians dedicated to serving patients. You’ll be supporting many sides of the practice, greeting and guiding patients, and helping out across the office as needed.

Schedule (days/hours)

two Tuesdays a month 7am to 4pm

• Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Improving oral health, solving dental challenges, and bettering smiles every day

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

Compensation

35.00 to 40.00
