Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a dental assistant to join our clinical team in New York. You will greet patients, prepare treatment rooms, and support dentists and other clinicians in delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities include patient education on oral hygiene, chairside assistance, and maintaining infection control standards. State credentialing and CPR/BLS certification are required, with benefits and a comprehensive PTO/insurance package offered.

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements (RDA, CDA, EFDA or equivalent).
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.

Job description

Overview

In this role, you’ll be an important member of the clinical team, working alongside GPs and other Specialty Clinicians dedicated to serving patients. You’ll be supporting many sides of the practice, greeting and guiding patients, and helping out across the office as needed.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday-Wednesday 8am-6pm, Thursday 8am-3pm

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
• Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Improving oral health, solving dental challenges, and bettering smiles every day

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

Compensation

$28-$33
