Kent Smiles Dentistry in Kent, WA is seeking a dental assistant with no prior dental experience required. You will learn and perform basic chairside duties under the licensed dentist’s supervision, participate in delivering a superior patient experience, and support infection control and safety protocols.

The role includes patient education, radiographs after safety clearance, charting, and regulatory compliance. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifikationen

• No prior dental experience is required.
• Customer services experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting functions under the direct supervision of the licensed dentist.
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by learning to keep patients focused on optimal treatment and addressing individual needs.
• Learn infection control procedures for sterilization, operatory cleaning, and disinfection to ensure safety.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures only after radiation safety requirements are met by the DAT.
• Prepare for patient care procedures and provide efficient chairside support until handoff to front desk for follow-up.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by the dentist.
• Record patient charting and treatment notes in the digital patient chart as directed by the dentist.
• Support patient care by presenting treatment records, consents, and health history to the dentist prior to treatment.
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, etc.).
