Capitol Hill Dental Group is seeking a dental assistant trainee in Seattle to perform basic assisting tasks under direct supervision. You will learn radiography, infection control, charting, and patient communication while ensuring a safe, welcoming clinical environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting functions under supervision.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by keeping patients focused on optimum treatment.
• Learn infection control procedures for sterilization and operatory cleaning to ensure safety.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures after radiation safety requirements are met.
• Prepare patients and supplies, provide chairside support, and hand off to front desk for follow-up.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by the dentist.
• Record patient charting and treatment notes in the digital chart.
• Present treatment records, consents and health history to the dentist prior to treatment.
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.).
