Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corporation is looking for a Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists in delivering primary dental care at the Los Angeles clinic or mobile unit. You will sterilize, prepare instruments, and manage inventory while upholding strict infection control practices.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, board-approved course in the Dental Practice Act, an accredited dental assisting course, Coronal Polishing and X-Ray certifications, and a valid BLS card; CA

Qualifications

• Coronal Polishing Certification and X-Ray course required.
• BLS certification per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• CA Driver's License required if Mobile Units are assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist(s) and dental hygienist(s) in primary care dentistry.

• Support infection control and safety protocols during procedures.
