Stoney Point Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team and support busy clinical operations with four-handed dentistry and modern technology. You’ll work closely with dentists to ensure patient comfort, accurate record keeping, and efficient chairside support throughout a variety of procedures.

Ideal candidates bring familiarity with dental procedures, strong communication, and a meticulous approach to PHI security, with training opportunities and growth within a stable dental

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology required.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification may be required by state law.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Protection of PHI and adherence to HIPAA training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, sustain patient comfort and provide education throughout treatment.
• Review patients' health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a wide range of procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and place orders; support office workflow.
