North American Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant for Whittaker Family Dental in Defiance, OH. The role supports clinicians with prep, positioning, instrument handling, and patient education to ensure efficient, high-quality care.

Candidates should have an accredited dental assisting certification or on-the-job training, radiography/X-ray certification, CPR, and proficiency with MS Office. The schedule is full-time with sign-on bonus; onboarding includes OSHA/HIPAA compliance and ongoing

Formación

• Dental Assisting Certification or on-the-job training.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting and operatory setup/cleanup.
• Record and review patient health histories, make chart entries under the dentist's direction, and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Set up trays and instruments based on the daily schedule and procedure requirements.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis following OSHA standards.
• Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing diagnostic radiographs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and other certifications and safety requirements.
