Whittaker Family Dental in Defiance, OH is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. You will work closely with doctors to provide clinical support, educate patients, and perform expanded duties, while ensuring compliance with state regulations.

This full-time role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a schedule including Monday–Friday with alternating Fridays. You’ll contribute to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive practice under NADG affiliation.

Qualifications

• EFDA certification or state-required on-the-job training.
• 1–5 years of dental assistant experience preferred.
• Radiography licensure meeting state requirements.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide chairside support, charting, fillings, operatory setup and patient education.
• Perform expanded functions such as fillings, temporary crowns, sutures, fluoride.
• Maintain health history and treatment plans in dental software.
• Assist in clinical procedures to ensure efficient patient care.
• Stay updated on state regulations and compliance.
