Job summary

North American Dental Group is hiring a Dental Assistant in Defiance, Ohio. You will support clinicians, prepare patients for treatment, and help maintain a clean, efficient operatory. The schedule runs Monday to Friday with extended hours on some days.

Qualifications include a Dental Assisting Certification, radiography/X-ray certification, CPR, and proficiency with MS Office. New grads are welcome to apply; 1–5 years experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting certification or on-the-job training.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific) required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists.
• Record and review patient health histories; document under dentist direction.
• Set up trays and instruments per schedule and procedure.
• Prepare patients, sterilize instruments, maintain asepsis per OSHA standards.
• Assist with dental procedures, including radiographs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and safety certifications.
