Job summary

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Dental Assistant to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Marshalltown, Iowa. The team is expanding and looking to add a new DA to work alongside a new Dentist starting in June 2026.

The role offers hours Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, competitive salary, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive insurance, PTO and retirement plans, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited dental assisting program or equivalent.
• Current QDA Registration with the Iowa Dental Board.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance in a high-volume clinic.
• Support a Dentist with a 2:1 DA to Dentist ratio.
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and document using OCHIN Epic.

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Dental Assistant to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Marshalltown, Iowa! The team in Marshalltown is expanding and looking to add a new DA to work alongside a new Dentist starting in June 2026.

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.

With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.

Role Details

• Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm


• Provider team includes: 2 Dentists with 2:1 DA to Dentist ratio


• Operatories/Exam Rooms:


• EHR: Ochin Epic


• Eligible for $2000 sign-on bonus ($500 at hire, $500 at 6 months, & $1000 at 1 year)
