The Iowa Primary Care Association, Inc. is actively recruiting a General Dentist to provide care at a vibrant community health center in Ottumwa, Iowa. The role offers a robust benefits package and a supportive work environment.

You will join a dental team, see 12–15 patients per day, and practice in a comprehensive primary care setting with EHR Ochin Epic. Competitive salary range $150k–$245k with production incentives and relocation/sign-on negotiable.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
• Active license to practice dentistry in the State of Iowa.
• Bilingual in English + Spanish would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• See 12–15 patients per day.
• Provide dental care at a community health center (FQHC).
• Collaborate with the provider team including dentists, hygienist, and dental assistant.
• Use Ochin Epic as the EHR.

What is a community health center (FQHC)?

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.

With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.

Role Details:

• Hours: flexible within the clinic hours of Monday-Friday 8am-6pm
• Sees on average 12-15 patients per day
• Provider team includes: 6 dentists, 1:1 dental hygienist ratio, & 1:1 dental assistant ratio
• EHR: Ochin Epic
